The Ministry of Steampunk are a not for profit organisation who run the Asylum Steampunk Festival as well as a number of other slightly smaller steampunk events throughout the year. We we love doing what we do, but we would not be able to put on our events, particularly the Asylum, without help from other steampunks who volunteer to help.
Would you be willing to volunteer? Might you be able to help the event be a success? Do you like meeting people and do you love steampunk?
We are particularly looking for volunteer stewards. Duties include checking wristbands, offering information, helping set up and run features, supervising exhibits and generally helping out. Volunteer stewards are expected to work three, four-hour shifts over the course of a weekend event. In return you get the cost of your weekend wristband refunded at the end of your last shift. You can even work just one shift for a single day wristband. It’s a great way to meet people and a great way to feel you are part of such a fun event.
If you are 18 or over and would like to volunteer, then please complete the submission form below and we will get back in touch with you.
