Madam Misfit is delighted to be back performing at the Engine Shed again this year and will be bringing with her music from a new album, with new merch and more fun filled chaos than ever before.
You can find out more about Madam Misfit on her website by clicking on her image or to go to her Facebook page click here.

Next up and making their Asylum debut will be Frankie Heartless and the Heartless Rogues.
South London’s roving pirate band will be bringing to Asylum a raucous concoction of sea shanties, jigs, folk favourites, and irresistible energy.
Having only formed in 2025, they are already rabble rousing across the UK. Expect haunting harmonies, heart-thumping rhythms, and more than a few laughs.

And finally, headlining the night will be Asylum-favourites The Captain's Beard.
Over the last several years The Captain's Beard have played the Advanced Guard, The Dead Dog Party, our first Steam Pirate Night at the Assembly Rooms and last year they supported Abney Park at the Engine Shed.
They are back this year to headline the Friday night gig by unanimous demand.
The Captain's Beard are a fantastic rabble of brilliant musicians, who's polished performances and awesome energy are beyond compare.
If you have ever seen The Beard play anywhere anytime before you are sure to want to come and see them again tonight.

The Ministry of Steampunk continues to explore the world of Cyberpunk at the Asylum and develop the theme into something special.
This year at The Ministry's second Cybernight you will be able to enter the Cyberworld in the main ballroom with entertainment and DJ sets from The Burn-Outz ripe for socialising, dancing and just soaking up the atmosphere. Click on the image below or here to find out more about the Burn-Outz on their Facebook page.
As part of the Cyberpunk night not only will there be live music but also an immersive puzzle playing element.
Anyone wishing to play will need to get themselves into small teams (2-6 people). Teams will have to complete multiple tasks, creatively solving puzzle to achieve top team status.
Please note- all teams will be required to tick a box, declaring they are NOT robots, before being allowed to play!
Here is your starting narrative for the evening...
As a (very) low level crime gang you are always looking for a way to break into the big time. You hear whispers the a large supply of “Mu-Slay” (a bread new synthetic recreational stimulant) is entering the city- this is the break you have been waiting for!
You don’t have the credits to buy a share of this but it’s definitely worth the risk of borrowing credits. Other groups will also want into this, you need to act quickly!
The local crime lord, who uses the pseudonym Dr Agon is always happy to lend credits (admittedly at an exorbitant rate) but you’ll easily be able to pay that dept off, after you sell your hoard.
What could possibly go wrong?
Please note AI and Cyberpunk are inextricably intertwined as a theme.
