After the fantastic success of DecoDance last year at AXV we will be back at the County Assembly Rooms again for Asylum 16. With Miss Trixie Holiday and the Vacationers followed by Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer it promises to be a stellar evening.
Miss Trixie Holiday opened DecoDance as a solo artist last year and she took the room by storm. This year she will be coming back to do it all again, but this time will be brining her band The Vacationers. ​​
​​Trixie is an accomplished vintage, jazz and swing singer with fantastic stage presence and a voice to die for. The addition of her live band with piano, drums, string bass and saxophone promises to take her performance to a yet more stratospheric level for this year's DecoDance.

Following on from Miss Trixie Holiday and completing our lineup for DecoDance we have the inimitable Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer.

Mr B is not only the pinnacle of sartorial elegance, but he is also a truly brilliant entertainer.

Mr B is a super-talented musician, a one-of-a-kind presence on stage and a remarkable innovator. His performances never cease to surprise, whether it's his lyrics or maybe he just unexpectedly pulls out a trombone and it turns out he can play that too.
Do keep up and check out his Facebook feed coming up to the event; at the time of writing (March 2026) his small dance Tuesdays are causing quite a stir and I am hoping he will include a mass small-dance happening in his performance in August. The Lincoln Arts Centre (LAC) is right next door to the Engine Shed, in the lower part of Lincoln. It is a purpose built theatre with tiered seats, perfect for a Burlesque show.

Our hilarious, resident compere Bambi Bang Bang will be back again this year, with, well – a bang!!
Yes, the incomparable Bambi Bang Bang will return as burlesque show host extraordinaire!
She’s an elegant glamazon with a sultry, smoky voice, but don’t be fooled by her bubblegum smile and silver-screen charms!
Grab a drink, get comfortable and prepare for a sexy, silly and quite frankly hilarious ride with this singing sensation and her raunchy sense of humour!
THE MAGIC BALL MAN
A firm favourite at our burlesque show and back this year by popular demand, The Magic Ball Man is an internationally celebrated contact juggler and flow artist.
He has amazed audiences around the world with his truly jaw-dropping skill and artistry.
This year he will bring mesmerising multi-prop performances to the stage and indeed, this might just be the closest thing to real magic that you’ll ever see!
SCARLET BUTTERFLY
Scarlet Butterfly, a much loved performer on the UK steampunk scene and producer of the burlesque show will be bringing you her amazing world of aerial artistry!
Scarlet is known for her theatrical, cirque style lyrapole performances. Her acts are visually stunning combining breath-taking aerial skills with exquisite, glamorous, fantasy inspired costuming.
Scarlet’s performances are always graceful, enchanting, powerful and exciting and she can’t wait to entertain you with yet another new act this year at the Asylum’s legendary burlesque show!!
OOLA PEARL
A dynamic fusion of class, clownery, and unbridled charisma, Oola Pearl is the award winning Welsh wonder who delights audiences across the UK with her mischief and mayhem!
A much sought-after talent on the cabaret circuit, Oola combines a knack for storytelling with a healthy dose of mischief.

RUBY DERRIERE
Ruby Derriere is the queen of cosplay!
Headliner for the Croatian Burlesque Festival in 2023 she is an international headliner sensation!
A multi-skilled performer and globally published cover model she’s an acclaimed pocket rocket and a powerhouse you’ll never forget!
Ruby’s acts are a fusion of cosplay comedy and seduction and her performances will leave you breathless!
LENA LEMAN
Showgirl, ecdysiast, comedian, model, muse & clown, Lena is an award winning, multi-faceted burlesque & vaudeville artist!
Renowned within the cabaret industry for her shapeshifting nature, she's known for dazzling audiences with her flirtatious, charismatic striptease, mesmerising with darker performance art pieces or in contrast, causing tears of laughter with her ridiculous, risqué character comedy.

SEEDY FRILLS
An international, multi-award winning, burlesque comedienne from Lancashire, UK, Seedy Frills is brilliantly bonkers!
Mixing inspirations from yesteryear’s silver screen comediennes such as Lucille Ball with British ‘Carry On’ humour, it is hard not to love Seedy’s animated facial expressions and mischievous antics.
With high spirited, cheeky and chucklesome performances, Seedy Frills is the Burlesque Comedienne who will have you grinning from ear to ear!
